Good wine, live music, and convivial company – what could make for a better evening ?
Join us on Wednesday for another café evening where WAG and choir join forces. We shall be tasting all the English and Commonwealth wines on the club list, plus some from former territories and colonies!
You will be welcomed with a glass of Jansz – a delicious Australia fizz chosen by club members – and will then wend your way from Devon to South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and finally to the USA. Not sure we ever owned California but hey, we need some poetic license for a wine and song evening!
This will be a hugely relaxed and sociable café-style evening – think small tables, candlelight, good wine and live music – the likes of Flanders and Swan, Purcell, Gilbert and Sullivan, Edward Lear – some bawdy, some beautiful, some beyond compare !
Please book on-line or contact stevesmith1@me.com. The cost for the tasting, including chef’s special light supper will be £32. Dress casual or formal as you prefer and enjoy a hugely sociable and fun evening. Guests are welcome.
