Dr. Adam Ross is a highly esteemed Consultant Ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in cataract surgery. His expertise includes micro-incision techniques with premium bespoke intraocular lenses, complex cataract surgeries, and the management of retinal diseases and uveitis. With over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Ross has trained in prestigious institutions in New York and Washington, DC, and has a remarkable background in teaching, training, and clinical research.
Currently, Dr. Ross practices at the Nuffield Hospital in Clifton and the Bath Clinic. He has previously led the medical retinal service at the Bristol Eye Hospital and has been actively involved in numerous clinical trials as both principal and chief investigator. His extensive education includes training in Bristol, Cheltenham, and visiting fellowships in the United States, along with various postgraduate qualifications.
A fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Dr. Ross continues to educate ophthalmologists and allied health professionals. He has served as the Ophthalmology Postgraduate Training Director and Head of School for Ophthalmology in the Severn Deanery and is an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Bristol.
