Join fellow Members of the Clifton Club for our annual visit to Taunton Vale Polo Club, organised by Members of the Petrolheads, for all who are interested in any type of ‘Horse Power’. This mid summer visit has become a Clifton Club favorite with our Members of the Petrolheads, and one not to miss.
Your morning will start with meeting at The Blue Bowl, West Harptree (details below) at 10am for coffee and depart at 10:45am.
The route distance is approximately 46 miles (which is around 2 hours driving time). Your drive will include a mixture of main roads and country lanes, interesting villages, lovely countryside with some great views, and ‘free wheel’ down Cheddar Gorge if you’re brave enough.
Taunton Vale Polo Club have kindly invited us to finish our run at their Polo grounds where we will be able to enjoy lunch in their Club house and watch the final of The Royal Aden Tournament which starts at 2pm.
All Clifton Club Members, their navigators and guests are welcome to this fabulous day out. You do not need to be a Member of Clifton Club Petrolheads, and all vehicles are welcome – old/new /large/small quick/no-so-quick – providing only that they get you there and back!
Drivers, navigators and/or passengers wishing to participate and dine for lunch at the Polo Vale Club, please email Duncan White or Richard Jarratt on duncanrwhite@hotmail.com or richard@tigandrichard.co.uk by Sunday 9th July 2023.
