You are invited to join the Petrolheads run to Wiltshire and Dorset this Autumn. We have a spectacular route taking in the North Wessex Downs and Cranborne Chase.
Highlights include Zigzag Hill and Win Green – the highest point on Cranborne Chase. On a good day you can see 30 miles from there and you may spot the Needles!
Meet at the Crown Inn Tolldown (on the A46, just south of junction 18 of the M4) for coffee at 10 am, depart at 10:30 am.
After a drive with long views, interesting curves and hills we will stop for lunch at the King John Inn, Tollard Royal (Great food and beer)!
Then we continue on through more beautiful countryside to Fovant where we will see the Fovant badges, a unique collection of military insignia carved into the chalk hillside.
All cars are welcome. Interesting driving but nothing too narrow or difficult and all good roads!
