Sherry Tapas Brunch with González Byass

Join us on Saturday 2nd November, for a delightful Sherry Tasting & Tapas Brunch with David Hayward of González Byass and be transported to a hot Spanish town on the ocean by a sherry that reminds you of sea breezes and salty air. This will be followed by a trip inland, to learn about 200 years of winemaker Gonzales Byass and the incredible range of sherries that are made in Jerez, Spain.

We will be tasting six excellent sherries, each accompanied by a Tapas which perfectly compliments it. We finish with the sweetest of all sherries, Pedro Ximenez and a chocolate dessert.

Our host is David Hayward, a Master of Culinary Arts, who has worked for Gonzalez Byass for 13 years, following many years in the wine industry and In Country house hotels.

It’s not often one dines with sherry as the only wine but if this is only half as good as the one time I did just that, then this will be a terrific occasion.

The price of just £35 includes a flight of 6 sherries and 6 dishes of tapas to match.
