A Summer Rally to Taunton Vale Polo Club, organised by the Petrolheads, for all Clifton Club Members, their Navigators and Guests. Enjoy a buffet lunch and watch an afternoon of polo, the final day of the Hong Kong Tournament.
Founded in 1911 by the Officers of the Regimental Depot of the Somerset Light Infantry, together with other enthusiasts, Taunton Vale Polo Club has the oldest polo ground in England.
OPTION 1. Take the rally route to the polo ground
- 30 Meet at Sanders Garden Centre, Bristol Road, Burnham-on-Sea, Highbridge TA9 4HJ on the A38 by junction 22 of the M5.
- Depart following easy navigation directions along a scenic and mainly rural route of roughly 55 miles and two hours driving time.
- Approx 13.00 arrive at Taunton Vale polo ground
OPTION 2. Make your own way, arriving at approx 13.00, direct to the
Taunton Vale polo ground at Orchard Portman, near Taunton TA3 5DQ

Taunton Vale Polo Club have kindly invited us to finish this Summer Rally at their polo ground where we will enjoy a £20 buffet lunch in the club house, a cash bar and watch the last day of the Hong Kong Tournament starting at 2.00pm.
