Every year the residing Chairman designs an event, and this year Julian Telling would like to invite Members and their Guests to socialise and enjoy a delicious Clifton Club dinner.
The theme of the evening is based on fictional pilot and adventurer Biggles, a nod to Julian’s passion; aviation. Julian has held a professional pilots license for over 30 years and regularly flies corporate/private jets.
Julian Telling is a native Bristolian, having spent all his working career in the city. In 1983, he co-established Falcon Group plc, which was successfully listed on AiM in 2005. Over the years Julian has invested in various companies, which have since been sold for significant profits.
Since leaving his ‘proper job’ Julian has enjoyed a portfolio career, holding non-exec positions and chairing a variety of AiM listed businesses. He currently chairs Pure Comms and is a senior non-exec of Bath based AiM listed Time Finance plc.
Pro Bono interests include being a governor of Clifton College, a trustee of Quartet, Chairman of The Grateful Society, a member of the Honourable Society of the Knights of the Round Table and a member of Antient Society of St. Stephen’s Ringers.
