Mimi Avery

Mimi Avery has been Brand Ambassador for Averys Wine Merchants’ since 2012.

Mimi’s work-life began with Christopher Fielden at Winesource in Holt, followed by five years in London with the International Wine and Food Society. Mimi has now worked at Averys for 21 years – 6 years in the shop, 7 years in the Buying team and 8 years as the company’s Brand Ambassador.

Mimi has lectured at Christchurch Wine Capital of the World, and been a judge at the Veritas 2013 Paarl South Africa, the International Wine and Spirit Competition, Wine Stars Argentina and the London Wine Trade Fair.

Her roles have also included Corporate Ambassador for Macmillan, Hon. VP for NSPCC Bristol and Past President of the West of England Wine and Spirit Association, Past President of the Dolphin Society and a Member of the Worshipful Company of Vintners.
